Valsts prezidents ar Norvēģijas Karalistes premjerministri pārrunā Baltijas un Ziemeļvalstu sadarbības aktivizēšanu
On 25 September, the President of Latvia, Egils Levits, who is currently at the UN General Assembly in New York, met with Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Norway, HE Ms Erna Solberg.

Meeting between President Levits and Prime Minister Solberg mostly focused on Baltic-Nordic cooperation. President and Prime Minister agreed that further deepening of already productive cooperation is needed.

President of Latvia and Norwegian Prime Minister also discussed Europe’s cyber security and digital challenges and exchanged opinions on vision for tackling these challenges.

Other issues raised during the meeting included NATO agenda and Latvian-Norwegian cooperation in the UN.
