On 23 January, while attending the World Economic Forum in Davos, President of Latvia Egils Levits met with Germany’s Minister for Defence Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer.

Meeting focused on bilateral defence cooperation between Latvia and Germany, agenda of NATO and forthcoming Munich Security Conference in February this year. President Levits and Defence Minister Kramp-Karrenbauer also exchange views on development of NATO and fight against terrorism, strategic communication and German presence in the Baltic region in scope of NATO enhanced Forward Presence.
