Working visit of the President Edgars Rinkēvičs to Valka Municipality

On 2 August President Edgars Rinkēvičs will pay a working visit to Valka municipality, where at the beginning of the visit he will meet with the leadership of the Valka municipality in Vijciems. During his visit to the municipality, the President of Latvia will visit the historical Vijciems cone drying facility of "Latvijas Valsts meži" and get acquainted with the nature farm "Bekas". President Rinkēvičs will be introduced Valka-Valga Twin City centre development project and the exhibition "Valka - the Cradle of Latvian Independence" dedicated to the centenary of the Latvian Provisional National Council in the Valka history museum. During his visit, the President of Latvia will visit the manufacturer of construction and packaging materials and "IGLU" development toys "Pepi Rer" Ltd, the manufacturer of forest machinery spare parts and metal parts "Kalnstrīķi-1", as well as the historical and archaeological monument of national importance "Ērģemes Castle Ruins". At 17.00, President of Latvia E. Rinkēvičs will meet with the residents of the municipality at the Valka Culture House.
