On 9 January President Edgars Rinkēvičs will pay a working visit to the State City of Jūrmala. The working visit includes a meeting with the leadership of Jūrmala City Council, as well as a visit to Jūrmala State Gymnasium, where the President will meet with secondary school students. President Rinkēvičs will also meet with tourism entrepreneurs at the Jūrmala Central Library.
To gain insight into the city's operational activities, the President will visit Jūrmala Hospital, Jūrmala Municipal Police, Cultural Space and Environmental Design Centre, Resort Rehabilitation Centre "Jaunķemeri" and Anna's House Café.
