On 4-7 February, the President of Latvia Edgars Rinkēvičs will pay a state visit to the Republic of Malta. The purpose of the visit is to meet with the President of the Republic of Malta Dr George Vella, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Malta Mr Robert Abela, and other senior Maltese officials.
The President of Latvia is also scheduled to hold talks with Maltese entrepreneurs and potential investors in Latvia, participate in the opening of the business seminar 'Malta and Latvia: digital tools for languages of small countries', as well as meet with Latvians living in Malta and give several interviews to local media.
Additionally, the President of Latvia will visit the island of Gozo, where he will meet the Minister for Gozo, Mr Clint Camilleri.
