On 7 December at 15.00, the concert "Music in the Riga Castle. Iveta Apkalna and a surprise guest" will take place in the Riga Castle Festival Hall. The concert series "Music in the Riga Castle" has been revived by President Edgars Rinkēvičs as a tradition to honour individuals for their contributions to Latvia.
This time, representatives of educational institutions, social sector, medium and large Latvian companies, the management and staff of the National History Museum of Latvia working in the Riga Castle, former Presidents of Latvia and Latvian cultural personalities who celebrated significant anniversaries this year and with whom President E. Rinkēvičs has met in Riga and during his regional visits are invited to the Riga Castle.
