SUSTENTO will verify the accessibility of the Riga Castle

On Thursday, 27 February, the Chancery of the President of Latvia and Latvian Umbrella Body for Disability organisations SUSTENTO will jointly test the environmental accessibility of the Riga Castle to determine whether it is fully accessible to people with special needs.

Such joint initiatives with non-governmental sector are key to encouraging other public institutions, organisations and the society in general to pay greater attention to everyday environmental accessibility needs of various groups of society, and thus promote solidarity and cohesion across the society.

Tests will be conducted by SUSTENTO environmental accessibility experts Daiga Veinberga and Linda Cērpa.
