On 17 April, at the Riga Castle, Supreme Court Justice Ermīns Darapoļskis gave the judicial oath to President of Latvia Egils Levits.
"You will enrich the work of the Supreme Court with your vision, as you have worked as a lawyer for many years. The lawyer's perspective on the work of a Supreme Court judge will help to better understand the reasoning of the lawyers involved in the case," said President of Latvia Egils Levits to Supreme Court Justice Ermīns Darapoļskis after administering the judicial oath.
E. Darapoļskis has been a sworn advocate for more than 15 years, and prior to his work as a lawyer he worked in the Cases Section of the Legal Department of the State Revenue Service.
