The surgery was made by the cardiac surgeons of the Latvian Cardiology Centre under the leadership of prof. Romans Lācis with the participation of prof. Pēteris Stradiņš, Uldis Strazdiņš, the Head of cardiology- anaesthesiology prof. Eva Strīķe and the team.
The physicians will provide any detailed information after stabilization of the patient’s state of health that would take at least twenty-four hours. We kindly ask you to be understanding and take account of the time for the press briefing set by the physicians.
