The Hospital will continue informing the public about the general state of health of the President of Latvia. The recovery process is individual and depends on the body’s ability to cope with the post-operative condition and the infection. All attention of the physicians is focused on the recovery process, and for that to be successful, a calm and supportive environment is required.
At hospital, the President of Latvia receives support from his fellow citizens in the form of flowers and good wishes. Flowers are handed over to his family, as they may not be left in the intensive care ward. In order to provide your support, the Hospital invites you to donate blood to the Blood Preparation Department of the Hospital that will directly assist cardiac and other patients.
