Valsts prezidents piedalīsies ES Austrumu partnerības samitā
President of Latvia Raimonds Vējonis will pay a working visit to Brussels, Belgium, on November 23 and 24 to attend the European Union’s Eastern Partnership Summit.

There decisions will be made on further strengthening of the cooperation with the EU Eastern Partnership countries by highlighting areas of strategic importance and specific objectives.

During the Summit, the President of Latvia will hold a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili, where the parties will discuss possibilities for building closer relations between Georgia and the Euro-Atlantic structures.

The President of Latvia will take part in the National Holiday reception hosted by the Permanent Representation of Latvia to the European Union and he will meet with the Latvians working for the EU institutions and representatives of the Latvian diaspora.
