The roles played with your voice and emotions at the Radio Theatre are also inscribed in the history of Latvian theatre. I sincerely commend you for your generous life dedicated to the stage and your outstanding contribution to Latvian culture," reads the inscription in the Certificate of Merit presented to Uldis Dumpis by the President of Latvia.
In the presence of the actor's spouse Daina Dumpe, daughter Dace and a large group of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, President Edgars Rinkēvičs presented the Certificate of Merit to the jubilarian and together with the entire family of Uldis Dumpis discussed the actor's brilliant contribution to the art of theatre and cinema in the Ambassadors Hall of Riga Castle.
