President Rinkēvičs discusses Belgrade-Pristina dialogue efforts

On 20 September, during the 78th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, President Edgars Rinkēvičs met with President of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu During the meeting, the two leaders discussed bilateral relations, cooperation in international organisations and Belgrade-Pristina dialogue efforts.

The President of Latvia reiterated his support for Kosovo's integration process into the European Union. Discussing bilateral relations between the two countries, E. Rinkēvičs said that the Latvian Presidency of the Council of Europe had demonstrated a constructive approach and Latvia had voted in favour of the Committee of Ministers' decision to refer Kosovo's application to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.
