The President of Latvia will make a speech at the solemn events and meet with students and educators while witnessing the operation of those educational establishments.
“The schools in Garkalne and Salaspils are a good example of how the Latvian education system can provide both high-quality general education and develop advanced skills in specialized curricula. The activities of local Young Guard units also confirm a versatile approach of developing children and young people as strong personalities and patriots of Latvia,” stated Raimonds Vējonis.
