President of Latvia Raimonds Vējonis will meet with H.E. President of Slovenia Borut Pahor and will discuss the opportunities of both countries to further strengthen bilateral relations, cooperation in the European Union, NATO, and international organisations, as well as regional cooperation in the framework of the Three Seas Initiative At the residence of the President of the Republic of Slovenia in Ljubljana on Wednesday, June 5. At the end of the day, Raimonds Vējonis will attend the dinner hosted by President of Slovenia Borut Pahor.
On Thursday, June 6, he will participate in the Summit of the Three Seas Initiative in Brdo, Slovenia, to provide political support for transnational and regional projects and thus contribute to shaping the united, secure, and competitive Europe. During the Summit, the President of Latvia will also take part in the luncheon hosted by President of Slovenia Borut Pahor.
The Three Seas Initiative unites 12 EU countries geographically located between the Adriatic, Baltic, and Black Seas that is Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Croatia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Hungary.
