President of Latvia Egils Levits will attend the NATO Brussels Summit on 14 June and will also have bilateral meetings with President of Turkey Recep Tayyip and Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau. On 15 June, while on a working visit to the Kingdom of Belgium, President of Latvia will meet with King Philippe of Belgium.
NATO Brussels Summit is the formal meeting of the heads of state and government of the North Atlantic Council.
After the audience with King Philippe of Belgium, President Levits will visit Kleine Brogel (Belgian Air Base) where he will address the pilots of Belgian Royal Air Force in a special ceremony dedicated to the repeated participation of Belgian forces in Baltic Air-Policing mission. President will also tour the base and military vehicles and facilities.
During working visit to Belgium, President will also give interview to Politico Europe newspaper.
