During the working visit, the President of Latvia will meet with Chairperson of the Tartu City Council Urmas Klaas, and he will also visit the University of Tartu and the National Museum of Estonia. During the day, the President of Latvia will visit the Science Centre AHHAA, where he will meet with students and passionate young researchers.
At the end of the day, Raimonds Vējonis will address the public during the opening ceremony of the Baltic Student Festival Gaudeamus.
The Baltic Student Festival Gaudeamus will be held in Tartu to mark the centenary of the Republic of Estonia. President of Finland Sauli Niinisto, President of Iceland Gudni Johannesson, President of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaite, and President of Georgia Giorgi Margvelashvili will also participate in the events.
