Valsts prezidents lasīs lekciju vecāko klašu skolēniem “Kāpēc 4. maijs?”
On Thursday, 30 April, 1PM, President of Latvia Egils Levits will deliver a lecture ‘Why 4th of May is important?’ to high school pupils. Lecture marking the 30th anniversary of restoration of independence of Latvia will focus on the mission and values of independence movement, and historical significance of Latvia’s regained freedom for Europe and the world.

President of Latvia will take pupil’s questions before and during the lecture. Lecture together with question and answer session will be 40 minutes long and is scheduled for 1.00 – 1.40PM. President will open with 15-minute long remarks, leaving the rest of the scheduled time for pupils’ questions.
