During the visit, Rector of ETH Zürich Sarah Marcella Springman underlined that the mission of university is to teach students how to combine logical, ethical and critical thinking. She also stressed that one of the main focuses of ETH Zürich is transfer of academic knowledge to business sector.
President of Latvia Egils Levits and the First Lady Andra Levite also met with undergraduate, post-graduate and PhD students from Latvia and exchanged views with researchers of Robotic Systems Laboratory.
