The President of Latvia visits Baldone Primary School to participate in the opening event on the 34th anniversary of the restoration of independence of the Republic of Latvia

On 3 May to participate in the opening event on the 34th anniversary of the restoration of independence of the Republic of Latvia, President Edgars Rinkēvičs paid a visit to Baldone Primary School.

In his address to the pupils and teachers of the school, the President expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome, togetherness and festive atmosphere that had been created. “Together with the young people of Baldone, I look forward this momentous occasion in our history – the restoration of Latvia's independence – with joy and pride. I am proud of our children and our country," said President E. Rinkēvičs.
