On 15 April, President Edgars Rinkēvičs visited the newly opened "ARS Diagnostic Clinic" operated by “Medicīnas sabiedrība ARS” Ltd located in the renovated premises of the former Red Cross Hospital.
""ARS Diagnostic Clinic has managed not only to preserve the cultural and historical features of the Red Cross Hospital through careful renovation but also to introduce the most advanced medical technologies for the benefit of patients. I believe this demonstrates that effective cooperation between the public and private sectors is achievable in specific service programmes, providing the patient with high-level diagnostics and treatment here in Latvia," said the President after the visit.
President Rinkēvičs toured the examination rooms, visited the operating suite, and viewed the patient wards. During the visit, he was introduced to the latest technologies used in disease diagnosis and treatment, as well as to the clinic's renovation process. Additionally, President Rinkēvičs and the clinic’s leadership discussed successful local examples of early diagnostic service provision.
