Meeting focused on interior sector pay, infrastructure development and better education and training. President Levits and Minister Ģirģens also discussed national crisis management system, quality of legislation, information space and ICT system security.
President of Latvia underlined that Ministry of Interior and its departments, services and agencies play a strategic national role. He also expressed his support for efforts of the ministry and sector to improve its overall performance.
