The President of Latvia thanked TOP 500 companies for investment in the Latvian economy

“I would like to thank all the TOP 500 companies for your important contribution in the Latvian economy! You have created more than 160 thousand jobs in total. You have provided an opportunity to work, live, and create their own families to more than 160 thousand people in Latvia,” said President of Latvia Raimonds Vējonis at the appreciation event of TOP 500 companies.

 

The President of Latvia emphasized that a large part of the TOP 500 companies developed their business in Latvian regions and rural areas by ensuring jobs to the people living there. “Regardless of whether you are a small or large company, you prove with your work that you are Latvian patriots,” said Raimonds Vējonis.

 

The President of Latvia presented the award to company DEPO DIY Ltd. in the category “Largest Local Private Equity Company TOP 500”.
