On 8 September, President of Latvia Edgars Rinkēvičs attended the Latvian Startup Awards ceremony.
‘Today’s award winners are a clear indication of the wealth of transformational ideas Latvia has. Start-ups know how to disrupt industries and trigger innovation. Latvia needs these economic transformations and start-ups should play a vital role in this process. Congratulations to all winners! We have plenty of start-ups to be proud about and I truly hope that their achievements will inspire many more young business minds,’ President Rinkēvičs said.

- best Impact – Cellbox Labs
- best Hardware – Aerones
- best Digital – Web Scraper
- best Founder-hero – Artis Kehris, founder of Printify
- Community choice – BirgerMind
This is the first year of Latvian Startup Awards. Aim of the award is to identify and celebrate the best Latvian start-ups for their achievements and progress.
