On 19 February, while attending the Munich Security Conference, President of Latvia Egils Levits had a bilateral meeting with President of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani ahead of his official visit to Kosovo this spring.
Heads of both states noted the good bilateral relations between Latvia and Kosovo and underlined the support for further deepening of cooperation, especially given Latvia’s contribution to NATO international mission in Kosovo. President Osmani shared the latest information about country’s development outlook, growth and progress towards better regional security. President Levits was keen to share Latvia’s European integration and reform experience. He also expressed support for further integration of Western Balkan’s into Europe.
