On 18 August, President of Latvia Egils Levits presented the letter credence to His Excellency Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Latvia to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) Mr Indulis Ābele, His Excellency Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Latvia to the State of Israel Mr Aivars Groza, His Excellency Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Latvia to the French Republic and Personal Representative of the President of Latvia to the International Organisation of La Francophonie Mr Eduards Stiprais during a ceremony in the Riga Castle.
