On 26 April, President Edgars Rinkēvičs met with members of the National Electronic Media Council (NEPLP) at the Riga Castle. The meeting was held to discuss the current agenda of the NEPLP, with a particular focus on the protection of Latvia's information space as well as the oversight of commercial, public and non-commercial radio and television.
During the meeting, President Rinkēvičs was presented with the analysis of NEPLP's research on the use of languages in Latvian media.
