The President of Latvia has examined clemency requests of 16 sentenced individuals

On 6 September the President of Latvia examined clemency requests of 16 sentenced individuals. Of these, 14 clemency requests were not supported. One sentenced individual has been pardoned releasing them completely from additional punishment, while for the other sentenced individual their criminal record has been cleared.
