President Levits congratulated Lithuania on joining the Three Seas Initiative Investment Fund and underlined that ‘this initiative will help strengthen the bond between our region and US and our partners in Europe’.
Meeting also focused on progress of Rail Baltic project. President of Latvia and Lithuanian Foreign Minister both agreed that it is important to make sure project management model facilitates successful implementation of the project in future and helps secure future European Union funding.
