Raimonds Vējonis
President of Latvia Raimonds Vējonis continues his treatment at the intensive care unit of Clinical University Hospital named after Pauls Stradiņš after cardiac surgery. According to the Hospital, doctors emphasized a positive trend in test and examination results and in diminishing intensity of the therapy.

Dislocation in the intensive care unit enables doctors and nurses to observe and monitor the patient's condition constantly. Recovery process both after the surgery and disease in general progresses as planned.

A team of doctors are engaged in the treatment, who are discussing the progress and tactics of the treatment on a daily basis. According to the information provided by Stradiņš Hospital, doctors will decide on the transfer of the President of Latvia to another ward, following the results of the examinations and tests, and assessment of general state of health.

Relatives of the President of Latvia said that Raimonds Vējonis felt significantly better. He continues the early-commenced physiotherapy; he actively communicates, receives visits of the closest people, and follows the latest developments in the country.
