President of Latvia Egils Levits presents the Certificate of Merit to Ilma Čepāne

Today, in appreciation of professional achievements and contribution to development of Latvia as a democratic nation state governed by the rule of law, President of Latvia Egils Levits presented the Certificate of Merit to Latvian lawyer Ilma Čepāne.

‘Through University of Latvia, Supreme Council, Constitutional Court and Saeima, you have made an important professional contribution to development of Latvia as a democratic nation state governed by the rule of law. You personally promoted sustainability, environmental law and green thinking in our legal science and practices,’ President of Latvia Egils Levits said as he congratulated Ilma Čepāne on her role in the development of Latvia.
