‘Easter is the symbol of revival, resurrection and resurgence. In these extraordinary times, at Easter, we are compelled to contemplate these concepts even more, and there is a reason for that. We have become more acutely aware of the value of life, we are thinking about what is important and trying to separate what is less important from it,’ said the President of Latvia, Egils Levits, in his Easter greetings to all Latvian Orthodox Christians.
President of Latvia wished all members of Orthodox congregations Easter filled with positive thoughts and joy in a hand-signed letter of congratulations sent to Most Eminent Alexander, Metropolitan of Riga and all Latvia.
