The President of Latvia congratulates the graduates of the National Defence Academy of Latvia

“I can definitely say that today we have our own country thanks to the Latvian Army. With the number of cadets graduating from the National Defence Academy of Latvia increasing, young officers are joining the ranks of Latvian Army officers, and we are strengthening our defensibility with each graduation,”

stressed President of Latvia Raimonds Vējonis at the graduation of the National Defence Academy of Latvia on 21 June 2019.

“Be a soldier of one’s country is the highest testimony of patriotism. I am really proud of you, distinguished soldiers, and I believe you, because I believe in Latvia! I am sure that you will do your best to always protect our country, people, and land. Be confident and alert! Be the best model for your subordinates!” wished the President of Latvia to the graduates.
