“Thank you for your daily efforts to control and protect the airspace of Latvia. Your support in emergencies by saving human lives is invaluable. I wish the Latvian Air Force always protect Latvia in the sky so that every person in Latvian could fulfil his or her dreams and goals,” outlined the President of Latvia during the festive event.
The Republic of Latvia had been proud of its diverse infrastructure and the aircrafts created by Latvian inventors, which served for the Air Squadron of the Latvian Armed Forces, already a hundred years ago. The President of Latvia wished that our engineers would continue this tradition even nowadays by creating aircrafts that could be used to protect Latvia’s airspace.
The President of Latvia stressed the following, “It is a pleasure that Latvian Air Force officers and soldiers are constantly improving, becoming more knowledgeable and professional, while constantly upgrading their technical equipment as well. Today, the restored Air Force of Latvia is defending not only the security of our national airspace selflessly, but is a full-fledged ally to NATO forces.”
