The President of Latvia emphasised that the people who have built and continue building our Latvia with their deeds are honoured this year marking the centenary of the Republic of Latvia. November is also a special month for Basketball Team TTT because they celebrate its 60th anniversary.
“You have proved to be a strong, united, and professional team both at a basketball court and in life. Your excellent achievements in basketball have been possible because a true unified spirit and human concern for each other ruled within the team. Thanks to excellent players, professional coaches, and team supporters, you have reached many peaks of success in basketball,” addressed the President of Latvia the audience.
Raimonds Vējonis also appreciated the activities of the Ladies Club TTT uniting and consolidating several generations by organising various sports and fitness events and informing the public about the historical achievements of the outstanding Basketball Team TTT.
At the end of the meeting, the President of Latvia wished good health, joy and ability to inspire our young athletes with their rich experience to all the players, coaches, and supporters of Women Basketball Team TTT.
