“There are great opportunities to promote economic co-operation between Latvia and Bulgaria, so we are calling on Bulgarian companies to search for new and promising formats of cooperation with Latvia,” said President of Latvia Raimonds Vējonis.
Given that the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union in the second half 2018 will be held simultaneously with centenary celebrations of the State of Latvia, the officials discussed the possibility to celebrate those significant events in the history of the two countries with joint measures and events.
During the meeting, the officials also discussed bilateral cooperation within international organizations, as well as the promotion of cooperation in the field of education.
