The President of Latvia: Big Cleanup facilitates cleaning of the environment and unites the society

Big Cleanup is an important public initiative, which promotes both cleaning up the environment and better social cohesion. In this campaign, we all share a single idea for cleaner, well-arranged, and greener Latvia,” said President of Latvia Raimonds Vējonis when meeting with the coordinator of project Big Cleanup.

 

The President of Latvia reminded about the approaching centenary of Latvia by inviting everyone to participate in cleaning up the environment. “Our everyday actions, including landscaping is part of patriotism,” emphasized Raimonds Vējonis.

 

He expressed gratitude to the organizers and supporters of Big Cleanup from both public and private sector, whose active engagement was a proof of the significance of the given project.
