On 20 June, the President of Latvia Egils Levits presented the Certificate of Merit to Latvian environmental protection and public worker Guntis Jānis Eniņš for his outstanding work and contribution to the discovery and conservation of Latvia's natural values.
"Your work has been extremely valuable because it gives us insights into the Latvian landscape. Your books and articles help us to see the beauty and richness of Latvia," said President of Latvia E. Levits when awarding the Certificate of Merit.
