Nearly thirty years ago, your colleagues and you dared to bring the Latvian doctors from entire world back home again. The medicine in Latvia was given a unique opportunity to acquaint with the experience and knowledge of the compatriots living abroad and receive financial support as well. I greatly appreciate the active support you provide to both healthcare institutions in Latvia and the young and already certified medical doctors in Latvia,” stated Raimonds Vējonis.
The President of Latvia awards a Certificate of Merit on his own initiative. The Certificate is presented both for a specific significant deed and for a long-term contribution in favour of the state and public of Latvia.
