During the conversation, both parties touched upon the long-term development of NATO as well as issues of NATO’s strategic communication, fight against disinformation and hybrid threats and the impact of technologies on the development of communication. The work of the centre of excellence STRATCOM in Riga was assessed in the context of strategic communication.
E. Levits and A. Lanata discussed security in the Baltic region, the outcomes of the London Summit of NATO at the end of the previous year as well as further development of the alliance.
