Latvijas Republikas un Albānijas Republikas karogi

On 3–4 September President of the Republic of Albania Bajram Begaj together with his spouse Armanda Begaj will visit Latvia on an official visit. During the visit, the President of Albania will meet with the highest officials of Latvia: President of Latvia Edgars Rinkēvičs, Speaker of the Saeima Daiga Mieriņa and Prime Minister Evika Siliņa. Furthermore, the President of Albania will also visit the Ādaži Military Base to meet with the Albanian contingent of the NATO multi-national battle group in Latvia.

During their meeting, President Rinkēvičs and President Begaj will discuss the bilateral relations between Latvia and Albania, regional cooperation, support for Ukraine and the expansion of the European Union.

Media representatives are kindly requested to obtain accreditation to cover the official visit of the President of Albania and his spouse by 12:00 on 2 September 2024 by filling out the application form provided by the Chancery of the President for each individual to be accredited.

NB! Please be aware that media accreditation for visiting the Ādaži Military Base needs to be obtained separately by contacting the National Armed Forces.
