PHOTO/VIDEO: Meeting and press conference of the President of Latvia Edgars Rinkēvičs and the Speaker of the Saeima Daiga Mieriņa

On 7 November, President Edgars Rinkēvičs met with the Speaker of the Saeima Daiga Mieriņa in the Riga Castle. During the meeting, the 2024 state budget was discussed, as well as two legislative initiatives sent by the President of Latvia to the Saeima today, which call for amendments to the Law on Education and amendments to the Law on Public Holidays, Commemorative Days and Days of Significance, the President of Latvia informed at a press conference.
