On 20 October, President Edgars Rinkēvičs addressed the audience at the opening discussion of the Riga Conference 2023. In his address, the President of Latvia described the current security situation in Europe and the world, expressed solidarity with Ukraine and Israel, and pointed to the necessary steps to ensure a lasting peace in Europe.
