On 29 January, President Edgars Rinkēvičs visited the Medical Education Technology Centre of Riga Stradiņš University (RSU). During the visit, the President met with the Centre’s management team and was introduced to the Centre’s application of the simulation-based approach to medical education.
During his visit, the President of Latvia visited the hospital reception and newborn delivery simulation halls and got acquainted with the available training in first aid, military medicine and clinical care, as well as with the surgical and laparoscopic skills development offered by the Centre. At the end of the visit, E. Rinkēvičs met with representatives of the RSU Student Union.
