On 16 September, President of Latvia Egils Levits hosted the credentials presentation ceremony at the Riga Castle for H. E. Mrs Beatriz Parra González, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba to Latvia, and H.E. Mr Daifallah Ali Daifallah Alfayez, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Latvia.
