On 5 December, President Edgars Rinkēvičs met with the Speaker of the Saeima Daiga Mieriņa in the Riga Castle. The parties discussed Saeima's agenda for the rest of the year and the beginning of the winter session, the progress of the President's legislative initiatives in Parliament, and several topical issues of importance from the point of view of public administration and the political process.
