On 18 May - Museum Night - visitors had the opportunity to see the Riga Castle forecourt, where the residence of the President of Latvia is located. The representation and working halls of the Riga Castle were open to guests to get to know better the activities of the President's institution as well as one of the most outstanding medieval castles in Latvia. President of Latvia Edgars Rinkēvičs also welcomed visitors to the Riga Castle during the Night of Museums.
