The digital library of the National Library of Latvia has been updated with the life stories of the staff of the Presidential Secretariat and the budget of the institution. Correspondence and photographs on the activities of the Acting President of Latvia (1947-1969), Jāzeps Rancāns, in exile have also been made available to the general public.
A biography of the Acting President (1944-1945), Pauls Kalniņš, prepared in manuscript in 1951 by Jāzeps Rancāns, has also been digitised.
The digitisation of historical documents of the institution of the President of Latvia was initiated in the framework of the centenary of the institution in 2022 in cooperation with the National Archives of Latvia and the National Library of Latvia. By the end of 2022, more than 1 000 pages of the President's orders and decrees books had been digitised, as well as lists of recipients of the country's highest awards up to 1940.
