Rīgas pils Svētā Gara tornī svinīgi tiks pacelts NATO karogs
To celebrate 15 years since Latvia’s accession to NATO, a ceremonial change of the guards of honour will be held at the Riga Castle and the NATO flag will be raised solemnly in the Tower of the Holy Spirit of Riga Castle on 29 March 2019.

The ceremonial change of the guards of honour will take place at 7.40 a.m. at the Riga Castle, whereas the solemn raising of the NATO flag will be held in the Tower of the Holy Spirit at 8 a.m.

Lieutenant Colonel Sandris Gaugers, Commander of the Land Forces Mechanised Infantry Brigade, Lieutenant Colonel Philippe Sauvé, Commanding Officer of the NATO Enhanced Forward Presence Battle Group Latvia, and representatives of NATO Enhanced Forward Presence Battle Group Latvia from Albania, Czech Republic, Italy, Canada, Montenegro, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Spain will participate in the events.
