National Defence and Patriotism Foundation NAMEJS has raised 8,000 euro during a campaign urging Allied troops to help children of Latvian army and National Guard soldiers make distance learning easier and more productive with new computers. 18 happy families received their new computers through the Foundation today.
President Egils Levits, as the Supreme Commander of the Latvian Armed Forces appreciates highly the work done by Foundation NAMEJS and adds his sincere thanks to our Allies for this useful gift. It will not only improve distance learning but will also develop our children’s digital skills.
“I would like to thank the soldiers of the NATO enhanced Forward Presence Battle Group Latvia and Allied National Support Elements, and the people of our Allied countries who donated money to the families of Latvian soldiers to purchase computers for their children for distance learning in these difficult pandemic times we are experiencing around the world. One of the core values of soldiers is reliability – they will always be ready to defend their land, Allied countries and partners. Thank you for supporting the families of our soldiers!” said retired Lieutenant General Raimonds Graube, Chairman of the Board of the NAMEJS Foundation.
Thank you to everyone who opened their heart. Do not forget about your near and dear ones, and do not miss a chance to make a difference for other families who need help in these difficult times.
